Overlander
The Overlander is a journey through the heart of the North Island, travelling between Auckland, New Zealand’s largest city, and Wellington, the harbour capital. You see fantastic views of New Zealand farmland, the volcanic plateau, Mount Ruapehu and the world-famous Raurimu Spiral. An observation carriage includes lounge-style seating, arranged at the very rear of this glass-backed carriage to give you a totally unique Overlander experience.
Coastal Pacific
The Coastal Pacific travels daily from the port town of Picton to the Garden City of Christchurch, gateway to South Island adventure. This journey is a scenic feast with the Pacific Ocean on one side of the train and the Kaikoura Ranges on the other.
