Rangitata Rafts offers one of the best full-day adventure experiences in New Zealand. The spectacular Rangitata Gorge offers plenty of white water thrills including Grade 5 rapids at all water levels - few other rivers can offer this. No previous experience necessary but a reasonable standard of fitness is required.
On arrival at our lodge in the heart of the Southern Alps a fresh early lunch is served. Then it is time for approx 3 hours of fun and excitement rafting the Rangitata Gorge, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Return to the lodge for hot showers and a relaxed BBQ. Optional return transport from Christchurch available. Our company enjoys an enviable reputation for safety. All safety and comfort equipment is supplied.
