Situated in the Victorian Precinct; the Oamaru stone building houses a shop exclusively selling locally handmade textiles. Weavers and spinners on site create colourful hand woven scarves, wraps, cushions and clothing. We sell accessories and baby clothes created from our soft, New Zealand merino and alpaca.

There is always a selection of hand-dyed alpaca, mohair and wool yarns as well as natural coloured handspun yarns. We have a display of spinning wheels including a 1790’s walking wheel and a large floor loom with flying shuttle which is used to weave traditional cloth, shawls and blankets.
