Farewell Spit Eco Tours
Farewell Spit is a nature reserve and a wetland of international importance – summer home to thousands of birds from the Arctic Circle. Farewell Spit Tours have been sharing this 35 km sandbar with visitors for more than 60 years. Choose from our Gannet Colony Tour, the Farewell Spit Eco Tour or the ‘Original’ Lighthouse Safari. The company is licensed by the Department of Conservation and holds the only permit to visit the Gannet Colony.
