Visitors can engage with real life soldiers’ stories, discover New Zealand’s military history, learn the campaigns of the New Zealand Army, and reflect on how conflict has shaped our nation. Situated at the foot of the Desert Road and Tongariro National Park. Facilities include: Rations Café, Gift Shop, Research Centre, Kidz HQ, guided tours, memorial greenstone wall, educational programmes, ample parking, picnic area.
