Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre

One of the world’s largest private collections of WW1 aircraft and memorabilia, brought to life in a multi-sensory experience that captivates and entertains all ages. Rare original and replica aircraft (both static and flyable) are showcased in spectacular sets designed by New Zealand’s masters of cinematic spectacle, alongside the historic Omaka airfield, just 5 km from central Blenheim and 5 minutes from the airport. The driving route is well signposted on SH6. Open daily 10am – 4pm, with café and limited edition merchandise on site. Family concessions and guided tour packages available.
