The world’s highest salmon farm and the first of its type – located 677 m above sea level in a hydroelectric canal connecting Lakes Tekapo and Pukaki. Mt Cook Salmon farms Chinook (Pacific) Salmon on a two-year rotation in pristine glacial water. Self-guided tours and fish feeding. Fresh fish, hot and cold smoked salmon. Freshest sashimi available. Views of Mt Cook and the Southern Alps. Located on the Heritage Trail, signposted from State Highway 8.
