The Point Villas Lake Taupo
Named in Conde Nast Traveler 2003 as one of the best new resorts in the world.
The two villas at The Point are subtle, luxurious and indulgent. They are set amongst native trees to provide privacy and tranquillity in a private estate only 10 minutes from Taupo township. Each villa has two double bedrooms with large ensuite bathrooms either overlooking Mine Bay or into the surrounding bush.
The furnishings are antique oak with seagrass and leather lounge suites in the spacious living and dining areas. The kitchens are equipped with the finest appliances and a moderately stocked larder. Guests may choose to be totally self-contained or receive full catering and servicing. BBQs and outside dining are also options.
Taupo is the heart of world-class trout fishing. There are international golf courses nearby, skiing and exciting walks in Tongariro National Park, with sailing and other water activities on wonderful Lake Taupo. The villas have two kayaks for guest use plus adjacent tennis and croquet courts.

As a Black Label member property, The Point Villas will be sold as one entity for the exclusive use by guests. If the client requires only one villa they can choose Villa One(Tatamoana) with uninterrupted views or Villa Two (Ngahere) with a swimming pool
Summer Rate (1st Nov-31st March)
$1,500 per night for one Villa- 4 people
$750 for additional use of second Villa- 4 people
2 night minimum bookings.
Winter Rate (1st April- 31st Oct)
$1,100 per night for one Villa- 4 people
$560 for additional use of second Villa- 4 people
2 night minimum bookings
Christmas /New year Rate (20th Dec to 5th Jan)
$2,500 for both Villa’s, 5 day Minimum

All Accommodation rates are inclusive of GST (Good & Services Tax @12.5%
