It sleeps up to 6 persons, and has views of the harbour through 60-year-old Pohutukawa trees in the garden, with a rustic kitchen, formal and informal dining rooms, a barbeque, SKY TV and a spa pool on the rear deck surrounded by subtropical gardens.
Rose Cottage and Seaview Studio are both suitable for couples, with a queen bed, a kitchen and a bathroom as well as garden or harbourside settings.
Skippered sailing charters are available at Mill Bay Haven for day trips or longer periods on a Bavaria 44 yacht which has 3 private cabins and is perfect for exploring Doubtless Bay and adjacent coastlines and anchorages. Charters are fully catered, with sumptuous cuisine and excellent wines included.
Other activities and trips / experiences that can be arranged include exploring the nearby restaurants and cafés of historic Mangonui village, fishing trips, Cape Reinga tours, golf, whaling museum visits, aromatherapy and massages.
Mill Bay Haven is 4 hours' drive north of Auckland or 45 minutes from Kerikeri airport in the Bay of Islands.
