A complete family adventure, starting on the historic and spectacular Skippers Road leading to the Shotover canyon, then winding along the cliff face 100m above the river in places. And that’s just the drive in! Next we get on the water at a site made famous in The Lord of the Rings, ‘The Ford of Bruinen’, and head down the Grade 2 rapids in either guided rafts or our inflatable kayaks. See gold mining relics and sheer canyon walls as we navigate the Shotover River, with photo stops, rapid swims and rock jumps.
