Dart Wilderness Adventures
This five-hour (half-day) adventure begins with pick-up from Queenstown accommodation followed by a breathtaking 40-minute guided trip to Glenorchy. Wet weather gear is provided before boarding the jet boat for the adventure ahead. Weave through labyrinths of fast flowing water channels, dart up shingle river terraces, glide into tranquil deep rock chasms, see towering snow-capped peaks, glaciers and waterfalls. Jet spins add adventure, and stops en route create a blend of adventure and storytelling. Hear of early settlers from days gone by while enjoying a ‘Southern Man’ BBQ lunch and traditional billy tea boiling over the open camp fire.
