Mona Vale Homestead
The beautiful Mona Vale Gardens – five and a half hectares of landscaped gardens gently rolling down to the River Avon – are considered one of the jewels in the Garden City’s crown. The historic Mona Vale Homestead is a gracious restaurant and function venue within the gardens, offering an all-day menu in a charming environment (evening dining by arrangement). It is also a popular venue for business meetings, corporate events and weddings. A variety of picnic hamper options are also available. Boat punting on the tranquil river operates from the Homestead during the summer months of October – April; the quintessential Christchurch experience!
