Stewart Island Flights

An airline service between Invercargill and Stewart Island, just over Foveaux Strait. Stewart Island is one of New Zealand’s best-kept secrets and the ultimate wilderness experience. Most of the island is uninhabited, covered in native bush, sand dunes and wetlands; beauty and tranquillity in a unique setting. Attractions include fishing, tramping, hunting, bush walks, kayaking, boat cruises and kiwi spotting – the only place in New Zealand where the native kiwi can be seen in its natural habitat. Stewart Island Flights operate three return scheduled flights per day to Stewart Island and more to meet demand in summer. The scenic flight takes 18mins. Courtesy transport from airfield.
