Jump start your Kiwi adventure by leaping from Auckland’s fabulous Sky Tower – the tallest building in the Southern Hemisphere!

It takes about 11 seconds to reach the ground falling at about 85 kph. The ground rush is unbeatable. SkyJump is an OSH-approved amusement device which provides new dimensions of safety and comfort. Participants wear a full body harness and flying suit (all provided). Unlike bungy, there is no dangling upside down or bouncing around – you simply fall ‘fast and smooth’ and then slow down to land just in the last few metres.

The principle of ‘fan descenders’ has been used for parachute training and in the film industry for falling stunts in movies such as Batman Forever, Titanic and Entrapment. Now SkyJump Ltd has enhanced the safety and comfort so that ordinary people can ‘give it a go’.

SkyJump is great fun and surprisingly gentle, no hanging upside down, but with all the thrill of a base jump – for daredevils who love life!

Bookings recommended. Allow about 30 minutes from check in. Ticket includes re-admission to Sky Tower’s main observation level. Friends can watch for free from the SkyJump landing platform or other vantage points.

SkyWalk is a new adventure activity where you can take an informative journey around the ring of Auckland’s famous Sky Tower and get the best possible views of the sparkling harbour and many landmarks. Adventurers experience the heightened sensations of being outside the observation decks on a 1.2m walkway, with absolutely nothing on either side except a 192m drop. There are no hand rails on this walk – just a full body harness and overhead safety lines to keep you safe. You are there beyond the realm of the window cleaners – actually being part of the view.

You need serious attitude for this serious altitude!

Allow 75 minutes from check in for your adventure. Maximum of 6 walkers per group. Ticket includes re-admission to the Sky Tower’s main observation level. Trips depart every 30 minutes daily between 10am and 5pm.

• Operating hours: 7 days, 10am – 5:30pm, except Christmas Day.
• Restrictions: Minimum age 10 years (with parental consent). Certain medical conditions may preclude jumping and walking, such as back or heart problems.
• We provide: Safety gear, harness and suit.
