Franz Josef Glacier Country Retreat
Traditional hospitality in luxurious, peaceful surroundings, with spectacular mountain or lake views from every room. Situated on our pioneer family farm – our new building’s design was inspired by a historic West Coast hotel. The 12 luxury rooms are all centrally heated, with tea/coffee-making facilities, fridge, SKY TV, DVD player, telephone, console table, private en suite bathrooms and French doors opening onto a balcony. The honeymoon suite has a four-poster bed and claw-foot bath. Other facilities include: guest lounge with large open gas fire, spa-bathroom, guest laundry and outdoor open fire/BBQ. On-site restaurant/bar.
