Welcome to the “top of the world” ocean view accommodation. Hicks Bay Motel Lodge is the easternmost motel in mainland New Zealand. Hear the ocean roll and crash on the huge rocky ledges, taste the sea salt in the air and catch a whiff of fresh fish as you pass by the rocks. Enjoy the spectacle of a magnificent sunrise at the East Cape lighthouse. Licensed restaurant, liquor store and shop on site. Take a leisurely swim in our pool or, for something more energetic, enjoy a bush walk and surround yourself with nature. Hicks Bay Motel Lodge offers one- and two-bedroom motels and studio hotels to suit your accommodation requirements. Our property in Eastland is located midway on the Pacific Coast Highway.
