Matai Shuttles

All your transport needs are solved with our drop-off or pick-up shuttle service, the only one of its type in Ohakune and the Central Volcanic Plateau area. We go anywhere within the central plateau of Whanganui and Tongariro National Parks. In winter, go directly to the ski slopes (our shuttle departs from Ohakune town every half-hour). Our shuttles depart from Ohakune, National Park and Whakapapa Village to the Tongariro Alpine Crossing and back daily during summer. Our friendly drivers are a fountain of knowledge and stories. Whether you are biking, walking or canoeing, one of our shuttles will take you to your destination and get you home safely.
