The Tourism Summit 2011, which will be held on Wednesday 13 July 2011 at Te Papa in Wellington, is now open for registrations. Early bird registrations are available until 24 June.
The 2011 TRENZ (Tourism Industry Rendezvous New Zealand) event, which took place last week in Queenstown proved to be a huge success. With travel buyers from around 30 countries attending, TRENZ is New Zealand’s biggest annual international trade event.

On 8 April 2011 one of the world’s biggest airlines, China Southern Airlines, checked in its first passengers for its inaugural flight on the brand-new route from Guangzhou to Auckland. It is expected that this new route will annually bring 25,000 more visitors from China to New Zealand.
